The library 23 of the Centralised Library System is in "Ozan" mosque, which is one of the religious monuments of Gyanja. The mosque is called so, because it is in Ozan district. It is a monument of XYIII century.

It was built by public initiation in 1786. It has four borders and a dome. It worked as a mosque till 1920, it served religious people. During the Soviet period it did not work very long time. At last it was restored in 1979. The beautiful examples of art work were drawn at walls of the mosque during restoration. This drawings show traditions of Azeri nation, national dances and also gates of Gyanja and the fortress walls, picture of sheikh Nizami.

Nowadays Ozan mosque works as a religious library. There are "Kurani-Kerim" in three languages - Azeri, Russian and Turkish translations, different books about Islam religion, and also a lot of photos of many holy places of pilgrimage, gifted by religious people of Gyanja. Alongside with them, scientific and fiction literature is collected in this library.
