The reading -hall is in the centre of Gyanja, it is a part of the central library at the street named in honour of genius Nizami Gyanjevi. This branch serves almost all layers of the city readers.

The fund of the library consists of literature of different types. In order to popularise this literature, interesting and substantial measures are often conducted in the library. The meetings with poets, War veterans, meetings on actual problems and historical and outstanding dates, artistic and literary parties, conferences of readers, discussions are often organised.

The majority of the fund consists of works famous poets and writers. There is a collection of productions of a number of our world famous poets. Also "Khamsa" of born in great Gyanja one of rare persons of humanity Nizami is also available for readers at the same time with creations of Fizuli, Nasimi, Vagif, H.Cavid, M.Mushfig and our contemporaries Elchin, Anar and others.
